I am a recent graduate from University of WI-Eau Claire. I have a degree in Psychology and minor in music. I am now currently doing post undergrad work at University of Iowa in Music Therapy. So far my clinicals have been with children ages 5-12 with behavioral disorders and 4-5-year-olds with speech and language disorders. During the school years I worked at the children's center in the infant and toddler rooms. The majority of my time is spent with the 2-year-old's, but, I also cared for babies and 1-year-old's. I also have taken care of my niece (4) and nephews (8 and 3) for an extended period of time. I babysat for a family who had a daughter with Down syndrome, so, I am familiar with children with disabilities. I also have experience working with children who have Asperger's syndrome. This last year I helped my sister run an in home daycare with 9 children between the ages of 18 months and 8. I work quite well in a high stress environment.
