Greetings!
My name is Bertille and I am 30-year-old.
I am originally from France and I arrived in the United States about 10 years ago. I have been married for 5 years now. We met in Arlington, VA, where we married in 2005 and moved to this area in 2006. We had our first child on April 4, 2009, a baby girl! Chances are that she would be with me while I care for your little one(s), which is why I would love to find another infant/toddler about her age. They could grow, play and learn together. She is a very curious and playful little girl who loves to interact with other babies.
My goal is to create a safe, fun and loving environment for your child, I also want you to feel comfortable leaving your child under my care. I want to build a lasting relationship with your child, but also with you. Before having to take the decision to stay home with my baby girl, I also went through the process of looking for a caregiver for my child. I know how hard it can be to have to leave your child under the care of someone else, so I would be happy to answer any questions you may have, do a background check or comply to anything else that would make you feel more comfortable.
I am also available for "date nights" if needed.
I have a lot of experience babysitting, from newborn to about 10 years of age. In addition, I was an Au Pair for almost two years. I was watching three wonderful children, ages 9, 6, and 3. It was a wonderful experience and it taught me a lot. I am CPR and First Aid certified and I also took a few baby safe classes before my daughter was born. My daughter and I are up to date with our vaccines, including the seasonal flu and the H1N1 vaccines.
As a bonus, I am fluent in French and I would be happy to teach your child a few words, or more!
