Since I was in my mid-twenties, I have worked in the field of care giving. I worked for several years as a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked for St. Barnabas, Clara Maass, and East Orange General Hospital. In between jobs I would make extra money by babysitting for families in nearby areas (i. e. - West Orange, Montclair, Bloomfield, Shorthills). I eventually pursued a career in being a full time nanny. Since the late 80's until now, I have remained in the nanny/care-giving field. Over the years, I have taken care of children from the early stages of infancy to adolescents. Most of the families I have worked for, I have taken care of their children until they were teenagers. What I enjoy most about taking care of kids is being able to interact with them, taking them to their play dates or for a stroll in the park, and being another positive influence in their early childhood development!
