I am passionate about people. What are children but young people? I am a certified Spanish Teacher with a love for children and learning. I have been working with children since I was myself a child. I began volunteering at a grade 4-6 church camp when I was 13 years old and volunteered at the same camp every summer until my first year of college when I was on Summer Staff there. I also have been involved in Big Brothers Big sisters in Billings and Bozeman. Furthermore, for the last two summers I have been a lifeguard at South Park pool in Billings where I work with a large number of children from many different backgrounds. Lastly, I am a certified teacher and did my student teaching at Lockwood Middle School where I went on to be a long-term substitute teacher. While at Lockwood I also coached Cross Country and Volleyball. My passion is being able to impact the lives of young people in a positive way.
