Hi,
I'm Becca. I am recent graduate from Johnson University. I have major in Bible and a minor in Children's Ministry. In Children's Ministry, I have learned Early Childhood Development, how to write age appropriate curriculum for preschool age children, and how to run a successful preschool or daycare. Included in this degree is a required internship where I had to work all summer in a church, organizing curriculum for the age appropriate classroom and organizing the various events that went on during the summer. Along with the internship, I monitored a young girl, age 11. She was quiet and shy and I partnered with her to help her develop relationship skills. I plan on being a full-time caregiver. I grew up as the oldest of 5 children and I love children because of it. Since I was 13, I constantly babysat children for ages 2 months through 12 years old including overnight weekends. I also worked with my mother from the age of 13 through 18 running, organizing, and working in a church plant nursery (ages 0 to 3 years). I worked with 18-month-old girl during the summer of 2009 as a part-time nanny. I worked with her on her letters, numbers, colors, and exploring the world. I have worked as a part-time nanny for five children at various times as a part-time nanny.
