Your child has gifts to share with the world, beginning with an unbridled curiosity and happy outlook. A caregiver's role is to nurture children to bring out their inborn qualities while providing a loving, supportive, stable and safe world in which they can explore.

My wish is to join an active family with an interest in a long-term relationship. Parenting is a challenging task and I understand the need to be willing to pitch in wherever my help is needed. My schedule is flexible to accommodate the sometimes unpredictable nature of life.

I contribute a nurturing, fun, calm, patient, consistent and structured environment totally responsive to the needs at hand. I am experienced with children of all ages. I know children require a deep connection, with plenty of one-on-one time. As we go through our day, your child will be included in every aspect. I am very interactive and talk with children, explaining in age-appropriate terms what we are doing, where we are going and why. We have a continual dialogue, even prior to their ability to speak words. I also invisibly teach as we go, challenging with questions and discovering answers together.

What does my multi-contextual background mean to you and your family? I am a happy, satisfied person and this translates into the care I give to others. Some call me a happiness mentor.

I have a strong background in education (BA), science (MS) and technology. I have piloted my own airplane, been on the winning crew of world-class sailing competitions, was the lead architect and general manager building my own home. It has been my privilege to teach diverse subjects at many levels, from preschool to college level classes. I have even been a guest instructor at Bastyr University.

While raising my own daughter, we learned so much from each other! Yes, she did graduate from Yale - but this is not everyone's path. All children have their own set of unique talents to bring to the world. I would love to help bring out a child's light. Is your child the one?

I welcome full time or nearly full time work. As one of the most highly successful, experienced and professional women available in this arena, my goal is still to be affordable for young parents. I look forward to connecting.
