I am 24 years of age. I am responsible, self motivated, prudent, and focused. I have a great deal of babysitting/child care experience. I have four younger siblings, that go from the ages of 9 to 17.
But I also have a lot of knowledge and experience with infants and toddlers. I took care of 1-year-old twins at my last job.
I love my siblings more than anyone will ever know, and care for them daily. I do the family grocery shopping twice a week, make dinner almost every night, give my little brother (who has Down Syndrome) his vitamins three times a day, drive my little sisters to and from their social engagements, and love every minute of it. I think it is true that actions speak louder than words, and that when those actions are done faithfully, and with a good attitude, that you are loving that person in a way that will bless them deeply. And that is a servant's greatest reward.
I have also served as a Crew Leader and Head Crew leader for Vacation Bible School at my church, two years in a row (2009-2010). In that position I cared for many children. I had 5-6 assigned to me, but was also in charge of caring for/keeping the whole class involved and under control, with the help of 2-3 somewhat inexperienced assistants. I love children, am lively, creative, personal, investing, sensitive, responsible, humorous, playful, and can make just about any situation/task a joyful experience that will make the child/children feel accepted/included/involved.
I also love dogs and like to feed/groom/play with them, and I am skilled at managing/understanding/observing their behavior, and have some experience in training them as well.
