My interest to work with children came from my best friend. She referred me to this site after successfully finding families to work for. My mother passed away when I was 5 and I was left to care for my younger brother and sister while my Dad was at work. It has always been natural instinct to care for others. My most recent experience has been as a professional nanny for a family of 3 children (twin 4-year-olds and a 7-year-old). I have been caring for them for 3 months. Also I have cared for children of family and friends on a regular basis. Duties have included but were not limited to getting kids too and from school and light housework. My rates vary depending on how many children, how many hours and the responsibilities asked of me. I will also consider how much traveling is necessary before accepting a position. This will help ensure happiness for both parties that should result in a long term relationship for the family.
