Hello, and thanks for taking the time to read my profile!
My name's Ashley and I've been a nanny for over five years now. Prior to nannying, I've worked as a camp counselor and a program assistant at a before and after school program. I've worked in the past for families with children of all ages, ranging from infants to school-aged. I've been with my most current family for almost a year and have had an amazing experience with them. Prior to that, I was with my other family for over four years and still sit for them occasionally.
Nannying has been the most important and fulfilling job I've ever had! It's become my career path in life. I hope to continue to obtain the experience to became a full-time, professional, career nanny.
I have infant, toddler, and school-aged experience. I'm currently in school part-time to obtain my Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. I'm very flexible with my schedule and will always schedule my classes around my job.
I have experience working for families, who had infants, toddlers, and school-aged children, as well. I am an energetic, organized, nurturing, active, creative, reliable, and funny person. I love to keep active with all my children and to engage them and help them learn! I have experience with driving to and from activities, light cooking/meal prep, special diets, homework help, potty training, educational activities (age-appropriate), light housekeeping (dishes, laundry, tidying-up, etc.). I'd also be willing to run errands, go grocery shopping, or do other requests for the right family. Some of the many things my kids and I have done together are indoor/outdoor play, walks, going to the library, educational activities, reading, arts and crafts, baking, imaginary play, visits to the museum, aquarium, zoo, and parks.
