I have helped to care for my neighbor since he was a 2-month-old. He is now 9-years-old. I have spent full days with him, as well as evenings for his parents' date nights. I have also had him in my care all weekend when his parents were out of town. (He was either 3 or 4 years old at the time.)

I worked in a foster care group home for a year and a half (06-07), and I had 10 kids constantly in my care with the help of one partner. Additionally, the other 40 kids were under my general care when needed, as all staff assisted each other when needed. These children were between the ages of 7 and 13 years old. This job taught me a lot about myself and my passion for kids and it provided an opportunity to be around kids constantly. This job also required trainings and a background check.

I use to volunteer in the nursery at my church as a teen, and I cared for infants during the church service.

I have been a volunteer teacher for the 3-year-old classroom at a church since 2006. This job also required a background check.

At the age of 14 or 15 years old, I baby-sat for a couple at my church. They had a 4-year-old and 7-year-old at the time.
