I have been looking after children since I was 16. I previously worked at a daycare in Wilmington, NC and have experience with children starting as young as 8 weeks and up. I worked there for two and half years and then had to resign because of conflict with my school schedule. I also babysat for some of the families that attend the daycare. Having babysat for several of these families, they refer me to their other friends and family and was able to sit for several local Wilmington families. I graduated from college in May 2012 and as of August, I will be moving to Boynton Beach, FL to complete a year of service with AmeriCorps. Although the typical Mon-Fri 8-5 schedule will be filled with my AmeriCorps responsibilities, I do have evenings and weekends that I can devote to families in need. I have always become very close to all the families I have ever sat for and am very thankful that I was able to be considered part of their family.
