When I met Ashley, I was immediately impressed with how grounded and knowledgeable she was! Within minutes she had bonded with my kids and knew right where they were developmentally and emotionally. I had always had caregivers that were referred to me by friends and Ashley was the first nanny whom I had to hire without the comfort of referral. She IMMEDIATELY was the BEST nanny we have ever had. Here are the reasons why you should not hesitate and hire her..if you are lucky enough to get to hire her before someone else does! Ashley is extremely responsible..she will never be late, or call in sick. When she worked for us she had to get to our house at 4:30am so my husband could go to work. He is a pilot and there is NO excuses accepted for him being late..she was never late. I worked in Los Angeles 2 weeks on 2 weeks off when Ashley was our nanny. With my husbands work location and my work location, NEITHER parent was in the state of Nevada when she was at our house! She had total physical responsibility for our children, and there would be no checking up on her through out the day. AND if our children got sick, she had to take them to the pediatrician, pick up prescriptions, and administer medication... 14 hours a day by herself! She did MARVLOUSLY and when we went to work, we knew the children would be TOTALLY cared for. The ONLY person who has ever watched our children overnight was Ashley. For some reason, I have NEVER felt comfortable with anyone else. She had offered to take the kids for the weekend so we could have a night away. During this weekend, she totally planned fun activities, cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner and did bath and bedtime routine. She followed our schedule to a T and our kids had a GREAT time, and were totally fine! My daughter was 3 and my son 1 at the time! The most amazing thing about Ashley that stands out in my mind is that when she was our nanny, it was 4 or 5 months before I found out that she was only 19. I am 40 and she could carry on an adult conversation, and made me feel like I was leaving my 2 "babies" with a seasoned adult. And when we talk now, I STILL cant believe that she is only 21..she has the wisdom of a 30 yr old and the energy of a 20 yr old, a combination you just cant beat. The ONLY reason why Ashley isn't our nanny right now is because we moved to Vista California. We only hope that SOMEDAY she will move close enough to be our nanny again.
