I have been babysitting since I was about 12 years old, I'm now 22 years old. I also have a daughter she is 2. I come from a big family with a lot of kids, ages 16-13-11-twin 7 year old girls-10 months & my 2 year old live with me. I used to babysit my friend's daughter while her and her boyfriend worked full time, after about 6 months of babysitting for them and cleaning and cooking, etc., they asked me to move in so I could drive her to school and pick her up to be there full time. Giving that opportunity to do so much for them and their daughter, made me feel proud. But I'm out on my own now, looking for part time or full time work to help support my own family. I still babysit now and then for her though. I also babysit for my brother, his daughter is 4 months old. I've been through it all with kids, changing diapers, bath time, playtime, reading books, learning colors, numbers, short days and long nights, sick babies, toddlers, happy, teething, fever, also having a child of my own has taught me a lot about maturity, every moment with her is a blessing.
