I have 8 years of babysitting experience with children ranging from newborn to 10 years of age. Care was provided at various times during the day as well as evening and occasionally overnight. I believe in the importance of children spending time learning, so my care included reading, educational games and activities as well as exercise and having fun. I enjoy children because they are honest and see the world from a totally different perspective than most adults. They tend to be optimistic and find joy in the simplistic things. I find that I learn so much from them such as finding happiness in the little things. In addition, I understand that this type of role carries with it a high-level of responsibility. When I care for children, I treat them as if they were mine. I watch out and over them and make sure they are kept safe. In addition, I follow all the rules set by the parents.
