I began babysitting children in my neighborhood and children of family friends when I was around the age of 14. I have continued to do this for the past four year. While I was 16-17 years of age, I worked at a Childcare Network day care center for nine months and loved it. I have also been the lead babysitter for a childcare program for a parents' Bible study at my church in Roanoke. On summer breaks, I keep an 11-year-old girl everyday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Kids bring me such joy; they are truly special individuals. I have also volunteered in the church nursery departments for a couple years and enjoy spending time with children of all ages. I double major in Women's Ministries and Family and Child Development at Liberty University, and I have taken courses regarding children and families.
