My name is Ashley. I've just recently moved to Alaska from South Carolina and am very excited to get started on this journey. I have obtained my associates degree in early childcare and will be continuing my degree next year. I have had experience with children throughout my degree program that includes children ages 3 months - 5 years. I interned and taught at a daycare for a week for my course work. This included making daily lesson plans, evaluations, working with a child who has autism (as well as a child who has a speech impediment), reading, and serving snacks. I have also observed and set up lesson plans for many children at various daycare centers throughout the Myrtle Beach area. Additionally, I am CPR and first aid certified. I am dependable, hardworking, and responsible. I love children of all ages and it is my dream to become a kindergarten or day-care teacher.
