I very much enjoy spending time with children, helping them grow and with anything that I can! I have nannied and babysat for children of all ages since the age of 12. I nannied for 2 summers while I was in High School for a young couple with two boys, one at the age of 6 months and the other a 1.5-year-old! I took it as a great learning experience and have had a passion for children ever since! I also have two nephews whom I babysat a lot over the years; they are older now, ages 12 and 14! I took a babysitting class and CPR class at age 12 at St. Joseph's Hospital and received a babysitting license and have been babysitting ever since! I feel I have made a difference in the young children's lives! I babysat for a regular basis for a couple who lived down the street from me growing up after I had received my babysitting license. I don't have my CPR certification, but can get one with no problem and willing to get one before starting work. I have had my CPR certification before it is expired now. I have never worked in an actual daycare facility but I worked for my church as an Early Childhood director, responsibilities include 2-3 people in-charge of 15-20 children ranging in ages from 3-8, distributing snacks, organizing games and activities. I have references from all of the families and from my pastor at my church!
