Hello! I'm a responsible, fun, and caring 25-year-old female. I am currently a graduate student, working towards my Master's degree in speech and language pathology. I want to eventually work with children with articulation and language delays in either a school or clinic setting. In 2009, I graduated with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Child Development. For the past two years, I was a nanny for families in Israel. Prior to moving to the other side of the world, I was a toddler teacher in a private learning center in Portland, Oregon. I have also been a summer camp counselor, an art teacher at a reusable/recyclable art camp, crisis line volunteer for a women's shelter, and professional childcare provider. Working with children has always been my interest and I am now working towards a career path that will allow me to use my skills in a specialized and focused way. In the meantime, I'm currently looking for part-time/regular/date night babysitting hours to fit into my student schedule. I am CPR and First Aid certified and I drive! Some of my interests include: hiking, baking, yoga, cooking, reading, swimming, and starting craft projects (they're hard to finish sometimes). It's always fun to incorporate these interests into my work with children (hands-on art projects, cooking projects, running around outside, playing in the park, costumes, making forts, singing songs, etc). I was always close with my nannies and babysitters growing up and I hope to create similar relationships with the families that I work for now.
