I have worked as a nanny for 20 years. During that time, I have worked for only three families and I have remained close to them.

With each of the families that I worked for, I helped take care of the children from the time they were infants to school aged. I am comfortable with babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and big kids. I also have extensive twin experience, as I am a mother of twins (now adults), helped raise my cousin's twins, and my last three employers all had a set of twins. I have taken care of both boys and girls and I think they are equally wonderful.

My general experience includes infant care, care and supervision of toddlers and older children, light laundry, light housekeeping, meals, driving to school and activities, supervising play dates. I have also babysat on evenings or weekends so the parents can have special time together.

I am patient and kind with children. I believe they should have lots of fun, creative activities, and outdoor play. I am very careful with nutrition for children and I will cook fresh, wholesome meals for them. I prefer that the children not watch television and I will find other activities for them to do.
