I am 18 years old and I have always loved children. Even as a child myself, I would take care of my siblings since our parents were never around. In 11th grade, I took a college level Human Growth and Development class where I passed with an A. We studied how to interact with children well and help promote a healthy future and lifestyle. I worked with a group of children from ages 6 to 12 at a church camp for a summer as well as a toddler day care for a year. I also used to babysit my teacher's 4-year-old girl. We would create art projects, hang them up, sing to The Lion King's "Hakuna Matata," bake, play dolls, and I would read books to her. I love to promote creativity and health in children. I believe in promoting art, learning skills, and athletic activities rather than just flipping the TV on. Another thing I love to do is bake deserts and cook healthy, delicious meals. I will be available most of the summer and next year, however I may need to renegotiate times since I will be starting college. Thank you for your consideration!
