As the oldest of 4 children I was often the "babysitter" for us all, with the youngest being a newborn and 10 years younger than myself. As a teenager I held an after school babysitting job caring for a 7-year-old for about 2 years. I would cook for him and help him do his chores and homework. I also take care of my nieces and nephews from time to time. I have 2 daughters of my own, a 2.5-year-old and a 1-year-old, so I have a combined total of 25 years of experience. I believe children develop better in an environment where they are exposed to other children of different ages and levels of growth. My girls are active, fun loving kids who get along great with other children. I find it important to be able to provide loving care and attention, nourishing meals, and educational value to the time I spend with the children I babysit for.

My home is ideal for care of newborns and up, with an extra crib for the babies and separate play room for the older kids. There are plenty of toys, books and videos to keep your little ones occupied and learning and outdoor playtime is provided when the weather allows for it. I prefer to only work from my own home, I find this is the ideal situation for everyone involved. You are more than welcomed to come and view my home as I want you to feel comfortable with where your little ones are being cared for.

My husband relocated here to Pearland for his work, and so I have recently become a stay-at-home mom. That being said, I have a very open schedule and the flexibility to accommodate yours.

Over the past 6-7 months or so I have gotten more non-family paid babysitting and nanny positions from 1 child up to 7 at a time. While I couldn't possibly care for that many at a time on a daily basis without a helper I do have that experience now and I have learned greatly from each and every one!
