I love children and I have a gentle, patient and encouraging personality. I am very trustworthy, honest and reliable with a positive attitude. I maintain a neat, clean and organized environment. I am a proactive problem solver who recognizes when something needs to be done and takes responsibility to do it. I have been babysitting for 8 plus years for friends, family and neighbors in all age groups. I also volunteered at local schools in my community as a teacher's assistant helping take care of the kids after school.
I take full responsibility for caring for children, including playing, reading, educating, and driving to library, parks, and play dates. I communicate day-to-day activities of the child with family, including sending text messages with pictures, using Skype, and maintaining a journal of meals, excursions and sleep schedule. I will be able to go grocery shopping and cook healthy meals for the family. I do general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized environment. I am currently a troop leader and I love being a positive role model in little girls' lives. I am an after-school program instructor where I help children grades K-5 with their homework and we also have structured play time. In the summer I was a summer camp instructor and I also work in the child watch area where we have children from 6 months of age to 12 years old come in. We do a lot of games, crafts and story times. I am very well rounded and have had experience with children of all ages.
