I've always loved kids. I started babysitting when I was 13 and became a regular family favorite. That was the beginning of my interest in caring for children that then lead me to pursue childhood education. I taught children's Sunday school classes and then after earning my Bachelor's degree I became a substitute teacher in McKinney ISD. I found that I preferred in-home childcare because it allowed me to establish a closer relationship with the children. I've worked as a long-term full-time nanny/house manager for 2 families and I really enjoyed my experiences with them. In these positions I prepared kids for the day, transported them to and from school and other events, helped with their homework and enjoyed activities such as taking trips to the park, zoo, fishing ponds, library and other fun places! I also managed the grocery shopping, laundry, errands and meal preparations. I'm very comfortable in a home environment and really enjoy sharing my love for arts & crafts, games, story telling, and outdoor activities. From my years of experience you will find that I am a mature person of high moral character with a kind and loving heart and strive to do my best in all areas of my life.
