I have over 5 years of paid experience working with children of all ages. During my teenage years, I worked as a childcare provider at a preschool/after-school program. The kids ranged from 2-12 years old and my duties consisted of preparing snacks, organizing activities, providing a positive environment, and supporting the needs of the children.

While in college, I worked as both a counselor and director at Boys and Girls Club. My responsibilities consisted of supervising 2-4 counselors at any given time, managing 30-50 kids ranging 5-14 years of age. My duties included: preparing daily activities and snacks, communicating multiple times on a daily basis with parents/guardians about the progression of their children and providing a safe, comfortable, and healthy environment for the children to learn and grow.

After college, I was the assistant coach for a HS lacrosse (2010-11) and Davis, CA lacrosse(2009-10). During 2009-2010, I worked for Rebuilding Together (jn NorCal & New Orleans, LA), a non-profit program that collaborated with teaching at-risk youth (16-19y. o.), while restoring homes for low -income homeowners.

Currently, I am in Seattle University's master's in counseling program, while also working as a Behavioral Specialist at a middle school (12-16y. o.). I am not currently working with them in the summer and my employment next year and is contingent on my acceptance.
