It is both an honor and a privilege to work with families as a care provider. I have a strong background in the care of newborns and infants, and am very intuitive to the needs of those I care for. I have a love of infants and newborns and a passion for empowering women to find that joy in their journey.
I am an experienced, professionally trained postpartum doula, dedicated care provider, certified lactation counselor, and mother of three. I have a diverse background, thanks in part to sharing in a large family of 32 first cousins and beyond, that contributes to my experience. I have a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University. I was educated in a college preparatory high school for young women where the core values of mercy and kindness were instilled; fostering a life-long belief system in helping those in need, especially women and children.
I have worked with many families in many different capacities; from postpartum care as early as the first day home from the hospital for both mother and newborn, to overnight care, sleep training, infant care, breastfeeding support, lactation counseling, babysitting, performing simple household chores, and to giving personal assistance, counsel, and support to parents and their families as needed.
Drawing on my extensive personal, professional, and educational experiences combines to give me the skill set necessary to support, nurture, and care for mothers, infants, and their families in a most trustworthy way.
To be able to make a difference in the life of another woman and child is a gift. It is an honor and a privilege.
