I have had extensive experience babysitting children of different ages, including children with differing health needs. I am a recent graduate of UVM, with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies which has given me a deeper understanding of the developmental processes of children of all ages and how to maximize the developmental opportunities within daily life. I completed an internship experience at Vermont Children's Hospital which has taught me to be more competent in dealing with the care of children with various health conditions and cater to different developmental needs. I studied both Spanish and American Sign Language during my college years, with conversational abilities in both languages. My experience caring for children has occurred in both theoretical and clinical settings, which I believe gives me a good perspective on how to maximize the positive impact I can have on the children I care for.
