I currently am the manager at a gym for children! I work with children ages 6 months-12 years old. I teach classes throughout the day depending on the child's age and developmental abilities, working with them to progress their motor skills and athletic development. I received my degree in 2009 with a Bachelor's in Human Performance and Sport with an emphasis in Teaching. I also received my minor in Education.

I have worked with children since the age of 15. I always knew I wanted to be in a job field that allowed me to help children grow not only physically, but mentally as well. I love to see children learning new things or progressing in various areas of life.

I started my experience with children working summer camps and after-school programs. I was eventually promoted to being my groups leader, where I guided 25 children in different activities throughout the day. I organized gym, art, and educational projects for the children daily. After a few years of experience doing that, I was promoted to Supervisor, where I helped run the entire summer and after-school programs for children ages 6-12. That job alone was enough to know that I wanted to receive a degree in teaching.

I spent my college years continuing to supervise Summer Camps and then I also received a job as the head Lifeguard and supervisor of the pool. I organized and taught swim lessons to children starting from 1 years old and up. I held Swimming Camps and taught children of all ages lessons.

I have also been a student-teacher and substitute teacher in the state of New Mexico.

Upon moving to Arizona, I have found my way to working at the children's gym. I love children, and being around them! I know that working with them is something I would like to do for the rest of my life!
