Teaching young people responsibility, kindness and how to have fun is something I'm expected to do as a babysitter or nanny. I love kids, and working with them is always a rewarding experience, especially when I'm making a positive influence in their lives.

My most important strength for this job would be that I know how to establish authority effectively and reasonably. I also work well under pressure and usually am successful in mediating troublesome situations.

I am also experienced with special needs children. My brother is on the severe side of the Autism Spectrum and I have been caring for him my entire life. It is hard for families to find people, even certified nannies from health insurance agencies, that are truly qualified to work with autistic children.
