I started babysitting at the age of 12. In 1982 I earned the equivalent of an Associate's degree in early childhood education from secondary school in Belgium. During my schooling years I worked in daycare centers, preschools, orphanages, and a maternity ward. One summer I was a mother's helper to a mother with newborn triplets. I also babysat for friends of my family in the US. I've been married for 25 years, and my husband and I have 3 children, ages 22, 19 and 13. I'm looking for full-time hours, or combining jobs to get close to working full time.
