I have grown up with two younger brothers whom I have helped care for starting at a young age. I have looked after families of children throughout high school and college; this has involved up to three children, ages 16 months-5 years. In college I occasionally would look after my professor's kids for the night which included picking the children up from school, completing homework and dinner/night routine.
Service was a part of my undergraduate coursework, I spent two semesters working with kindergarten students at a local elementary school. I enjoy working with children and believe it is important to form a relationship to establish trust and respect.
