I am 20 years old and a college student, attending Northeastern University. I am looking for a job working with children over the summer, due to my studies in child and adolescent psychology.

I spent time working with children from the ages of 5-10, in after school programs in Boston, during the Fall of 2011. I helped them with their homework, fed them snacks, and played "peace games" with them, which instill ideas of peace in their community and help them to improve their self-confidence and individuality.

I worked at the Elmwood Park Zoo from May 2008-June 2010, and recently returned as a Junior Docent, where I educate and work with children of all ages, presenting at birthday parties and live animal shows, teaching them about animals in the zoo, and working with the children at day camp, over the summer.

Through a connection with their father, I spent two weeks taking care of three very active boys (ages 2. 5, 5, and 11) in Arusha, Tanzania. I took care of them at home, then went with all three boys and their mother on vacation to help take care of them on the trip.
