I started babysitting for friends and family when I was about 13 years old and still till this day have frequent babysitting jobs. I went to Brighton High School and they have an early childcare program that I was in for both my junior and senior year. In this class I not only learned about children and childcare jobs but, I got the chance to expirence it. In this program we were given the privielge to work in a classroom with children where we planned all the daily activities. In this class we also got the chance to be a student assistant working at local schools and daycares. I worked in an infant room, toddler room, pre-schoolroom, and even special education room. After being in this class I realized working with children is what I really want to do. I have now worked in an at home day care for over 2-years and have enjoyed it tremendously!
