Throughout high school I became the "neighborhood babysitter" and would watch most of the kids on the block. My mother worked in my school district, so many of the faculty members would hire me to watch their children, as well as members of my church. I love working with children. I used to be a children's choral director at my church back in PA. In 2008 I was co-director of a children's choir at a small academy camp. Last summer I worked at a summer camp and was in charge of the children's musicals there as well as a cabin full of 8 and 9-year-olds.
I have a younger brother who I helped raise. He has become my best friend and seeing him grow up has made me want to have children of my own. In the future I plan to build a theater of my own and provide a theater academy for children to learn music and theater in; after all, most art programs in schools are being cut.
