I am a certified teacher looking for a summer nannying job. I graduated from Salve Regina University in May of 2010. Upon graduating I was a full day Kindergarten teacher in Springfield, MA with 25 children in my class. Last year I was a long term substitute in a Kindergarten classroom in Waltham. Over the summer I taught preschool to children ages 2 - 5. I am currently a kindergarten teacher in Mendon, MA. I am also currently getting my Master's degree in Reading & Language. I began as a mother's helper at age 10 and from then on, have been babysitting for multiple families over the years. Last year, I was a full time nanny for a family of three children ages 4, 6 and 8. Two summers ago, I worked as a day care teacher in my home town for a classroom of 15, ages 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years old. I am comfortable working with all ages of children and love what I do! I am a certified teacher in both MA and RI, I have been background checked. I would love to work with a family who would let me be active with the children, take them outside, to the beach, etc. I have my own transportation, and I am very flexible. I am also available for after school tutoring!
