I'm 23 years old. I've been caring for children since I was in elementary school. During my 6th grade year at an elementary school in Santa Clara, California, I was 1 of the few chosen students to tutor kindergarten kids with reading and writing each morning until the year ended. It was a great experience working with children especially since 1 of the students in the class, was my own cousin. I have 3 younger brothers that I helped raise and care for while growing up and I still babysit them when my mother needs help. I also had a baby sister who recently passed at 7 weeks due to an illness called Trisomy 18. When babysitting her, I had to keep a close watch on her since her illness gave her heart problems. I love children and I love caring for all children. I can still be a child at times. My brothers love when I come over because we all love to color together. I've also babysat for a few close friends, ages from 7 months to 5 years old. I would sometimes keep children overnight, as well, if their parents asked.
