Hello! Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. Let me tell you a little bit about myself to see if I might be what you are looking for in a child care provider. I have done childcare off and on most of my life (more than 20 years' experience). Starting as a young pre-teen, I could not wait to take the American Red Cross Babysitting class. Once I did, I was off and running with my babysitting career. In my teen years, I did babysitting for numerous families in my neighborhood. During this time, I also volunteered at Children's Hospital where I assisted primarily in the child life activity centers.

Through out my college years, I babysat 5 days a week for a wonderful family with three small children. More recently, I was a regular sitter for the children of a professional couple. I worked for that family for over 8 years, and occasionally did overnight care for them when the parents were traveling out of town. Those children are teenagers now and no longer require regular supervision.

I have a full-time career during the day, but I am looking to pick up a couple of babysitting jobs to make a little bit of extra spending money. I am available most evenings during the week after 5 p.m. (I have a little bit of flexibility on that time), and I'm also available for occasional weekends. Ideally, I would like to find a position or 2, where I was a regularly scheduled weekly sitter. However, until the right position comes along - I am open to doing occasional babysitting jobs for now. I am also available for occasional over night care if mom and dad need to travel out of town with out the kids.
