Hello, my family and I live on a farm and would love to open our home to afterschool care for a few children in our area. We are centrally located close to Northside Elementary in Dallas, Ga. Also, Moses & McClure Middle Schools in Dallas, Ga.
For children who would come here, I believe in a schedule. It would be a daily routine of: Arrive, snack time/ homework for 45 min-1.15 hours; planned outside activity- 1-2 hours; planned craft/activity 30 min-1 hr. Pack up, go home.
Hours available for here in my home are 2:45-7 p.m. 5 days per week; following the Paulding County School calendar. The cost is $65 per child per week. Whether you have daycare here or somewhere else remember some families may qualify for assistance with daycare through CAPS. I am a mother of 2 girls, ages 14 & 17. As my girls have grown, I have had the experience of caring for them as well as their cousins and friends along the way. I love my children and I understand how important it is to find reliable, safe childcare. I graduated with a BS in Human Services but elected to be a stay at home mom for my girls. I admire the women who work full time with families as well as moms who stay at home with the children. Parents need a helping hand with childcare, housekeeping, cooking and home life. I have experienced this and I would like to help you out.
