Ever since I can remember, I have been passionate about children. At the age of 14, I began babysitting around the neighborhood for families I knew. I then expanded to surrounding communities and continued watching children (ages 2-6) through my youth. In my senior year of high school, I enrolled in a college course which allowed me to student-teach in classrooms (pre-k to high school) 4 days a week. It was a wonderful experience where I learned useful tools to teach the younger generation. I continued my education after high school and began courses with an Early Childhood Education major. This allowed me to work in elementary school settings working closely with a wide array of students. In my free time, I worked for a program called America Reads. With America Reads, I ran an after school program in Toledo area schools for Kindergarten.
I have great enthusiasm working with children and find that they have brought out the best in me. I am still babysitting for families surrounding my neighborhood and would love to provide the child care that you need! I know that finding the right person to spend time with your children can be uneasy and stressful, but I believe I have enough experience and passion to make your decision a little easier.
