We actually hired Andrea because she had a good interview with us and a good resume and letters of recommendation. We regret hiring her to this day. She is not flexible and she is all about the money and wants to get paid for hours she did not work. She even went so far as to threaten to take us to court because her check was late. I am sorry she feels that way. When she is the one who had afford to pay me for my time. I had also asked in advance if I would be getting paid for the day, they were away and she told me "yes". I was not getting paid "hourly" The arrangement was to be paid "salary".
Which means you get paid no matter how many hours you work. Beware make sure the family CAN afford to employ you before accepting the position.... More

Andrea and I exchange a few emails a little while back. Her replies were extremely rude and unprofessional. I would NEVER allow someone like this to watch my child. I was extremely disappointed with the interactions we had.

I am sorry Laura feels this way. She had rudely replied to my rate, and I wished luck finding someone at her rate with all of her needs. I have had may interviews, and positions of employment, where I am still friends with the families. You can't please everyone.
