I am very experienced in childcare and absolutely love working with children. I have worked in a daycare for over 4 years as well as being a nanny to an infant starting when she was 3 months old. Along with those two jobs I have also been an overnight sitter, been responsible for drop off and pick up from school and sports and general babysitting on weekends. I have cared for children ranging in ages from 4 weeks- 14 years old. I am very comfortable with watching a few children at a time with no problem. I have watched up to 6 children on my own numerous times with no problems ever. The majority of my work has been with infants to I am very confident in caring for another. I also love watching older children as well. I like taking the kids I watch to the park, library, movies or just going outside to play. I also like to do little projects with them as well. I am a student working on my degree in Early Childhood Education and have taken many courses on child development along with doing general observation on preschool aged children. I am CPR certified and have taken infant CPR as well. Given my experience in childcare I do ask for a starting rate of $10/hr.
