I am sophomore at Plymouth State University majoring in Child Psychology and minoring in Child Welfare and Family Studies. I have been a summer nanny and baby sitter since I was 12 years old. I am passionate about what I do for the very reason that when the children leave happy and having learned something or even having had a good time, it gives me a feeling that I have succeeded. I love being able to share my knowledge with children and encouraging them to expand their horizons. When it comes to children younger than 5, my forte comes in being able to tend to their needs and knowing when they need something. I love sailing, swimming, taking nature walks, reading, baking and having fun, but most importantly making sure the children I am working with have fun. I studied a year and a half in early childhood education when my path changed to what it is now, I continue to love and wish to work with children. I work part time at the Development Center on campus between all of the rooms which range from toddler to kindergarten. I have experience with children with diabetes, and other medical needs as well as children with allergies from sever to mild (nut, gluten, shellfish, & medical). If there is anything else you would like to know or ask me, please let me know.

A summer-time position is ideal as I am still attending school. I would also be able to be available for school vacations and breaks.
