Hello:

My name is Andra. I am a 40-year-old single woman living in Newport Beach, California. I am looking for a full-time live-out nanny position. I have several years of childcare experience which includes babysitting off and on since I was 15. I love all children, and have taken care of children from ages newborn to 15.

Here is a little about my background: I have taken care of twin girls from newborn up until age 6 months. Their mother almost died of congestive heart failure. I took care of these girls off and on until age 15. I was with this family for many years. I also helped my God-sister with her twin boys and their 10-year-old brother from newborn off and on up until age 15. I sometimes stay the night with them to make sure they stay out of trouble at that age. I have also gone on family vacations with them and taken care of the kids while the parents did their own thing.

I was also a nanny for a 4-year-old girl in Del Mar, California for several years. I also babysat for other miscellaneous families that were referred to me. I love all children and usually they are drawn to me after I have been around them a few times. I make them smile and laugh. If they are younger than six months, I like to talk to them a lot and make facial expressions. If they are older, I read and do other things in their age category. I love to take kids for walks to get fresh air as well as go to the park so they can play. Each one of my childcare experiences has been very special and rewarding. I must let you know I cannot be around cats, as I am extremely allergic. I currently do not work in the childcare field. I would need to give my current employer a 2- week notice as a courtesy.
