I was an Au pair in the past and I lived in WDC for one year taking care of two girls one with 2 and the other with 3 years old, but later they became 3 and 4 years old. I lived with the family so I had so many tasks with the house, like organize the kids' bedroom and bathroom, organize their toys and teach them how to do it. I was responsible for doing their laundry and making sure everything about the girls was OK. I had to drive them to the school, friends' houses, swimming classes, ballet classes, gymnastic classes and all things they would need. I did not have to cook for the girls, but I always made their snacks. I gave them a bath as well, went to the pool at summer and played so much. When I first started, the girls were way too young to learn so many things, but because I am Brazilian, I was able to teach them some Portuguese, which they remember still today, only some words. I am in the US now and I am looking for babysitter or caregiver jobs because I enjoy being with kids.
