I have cared for many children in my life and also did some volunteer work as a younger teen. Recently, I moved back to Michigan but before I came back, I was a full time live in nanny to a beautiful 1-year-old baby. I also watched 3 other children. One of them with special needs. We took field trips to the zoo, museums and also to the park. I also did arts and crafts with the children such as making musical instruments, painting, coloring, and other activities. I believe that being active is very healthy for a child and when the weather is nice I like to be outside as much as possible. I have been puked on, pooped on, peed on, you name it, it's happened. None of that bothers me though. I enjoy seeing the smile on a child's face and feel that they are my number one priority while they are in my care. While I was an in home nanny I cooked, cleaned and watched the child from the time they woke up until they went to bed. I also took care of a child who wore a helmet and I had to watch his movements and pay extra attention. I have watched children from the ages of 6 months to 4 years of age.
