I am a senior in college at Saint Vincent College in Pennsylvania looking for a job as a summer nanny. I attended the United States Military Academy, also known as West Point in West Point, New York from June 2008- November 2009. I then transferred to Saint Vincent College to major in Elementary Education. As to my past experience with teaching, I worked as a nanny to two small children, (ages two and four) in the summer of 2010, taught German in the Step-Up program for home-schoolers at Saint Vincent College (on the 3rd grade level), worked a wide variety of field experience hours in math, science, social studies, and reading, volunteered this past summer at the Therapeutic Riding Center in Glenwood, MD, and am currently teaching Nature Story Time (pre-kindergarten level) at the Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve here on campus. In addition I have taken numerous courses on how to teach elementary math, science, reading, and social studies. I plan to start my pre-student teaching next semester in the fall. My hobbies include: reading, drawing, singing, playing guitar and piano, baking, knitting, and spending time with my family.
