I find that being around children is a rewarding experience, where you never quite know what will happen next. I was working the last two and a half years as an Au Pair in Europe. I worked for the same family the whole time. The 3 children I looked after were between 4-12. In their household I aided in getting the children ready for school, preparing their lunch and dinners. After school I ran the children around to their various activities and aided them with both their french and English homework.
I have also done babysitting for infants to age 4, and feel completely comfortable in doing so. Before leaving for Europe I did have CPR certification but have not had a chance to renew it after returning this month.
