I have babysat children ages 6 months to 10 years old since I was 14 years old. I also have younger cousins, ages 6-13, whom I have looked after at family gatherings. My mother is an elementary school special education teacher. I have volunteered in her classroom since I was 12 years old, so I have experience with mentally and physically disabled children. Because I am still a teenager, I can get along and relate to kids, but I am also old enough to be responsible and make decisions that I see are best for the child(ren). I attended Our Lady of the Elms School in West Akron for 11 years, and graduated in June of 2012. I am able to help with schoolwork or projects in all subjects, minus foreign language. I can cook meals, make a snack or bake cookies with your children. I do, however, have a severe peanut butter/nut allergy.
