“ First and foremost, I have experience raising my own child, a 2 year old girl. I worked at a child care facility for one summer in 2008. I also worked for AmeriCorps Energy Express for two summers in 2006 and 2007 where I had a class of up to 8 children between ages 5-12 years. I made lesson plans for reading and writing and physical activities. I also have experience as a peer tutor for 3 years during college.
