Hello, my name is Amber O. I am 34 years old and I have been caring for children from the time I was only 13 years old. I have three children of my own, ages 5, 4 and 3. I am the director of the nursery at my church. I am used to taking care of children of all ages, however, I do have a very special love of infants and toddlers. My children are very well-behaved and we are presently home-schooling them for preschool. My oldest child learned to read at the age of 3. From the time that I found out that I was expecting, I prayed that I would be able to stay at home with my children. I could not even imagine how difficult it is being away from them for several hours everyday. That being said, my goal as a nanny is to treat your child as my own when you are not able to be with them. They will be loved and nurtured, taught and trained, and feel like a part of our family. I have several references from throughout the years and I am honored to say that every child that I have ever cared for says that I was their favorite sitter, and the moms say that they never felt more comfortable leaving their little ones. People say that I go above and beyond anything that they ever expected in a nanny, and that they really enjoy that I have such a soft spoken and motherly voice. I do not take the credit for such thoughts. I am a Christian before anything else and I believe what the Bible says, "Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father, which art in Heaven."
