Hello, my name is Amanda and I have experience with children. I work at Growing Scholars Montessori School and I worked with ages 2 months old to 12 years old. I am very comfortable with all ages. When I work with infants we give them a set schedule. I always write what they eat and what time they eat and how much. We also write when they use the restroom and what time they use it. I love toddlers, that's when they learn the most. I love teaching them their ABC's and numbers and colors. I teach them manners, how to pick up after themselves. I love to teach and help the little kids. I have babysat many times with my nieces and nephews and I always make sure they eat good. Whenever they're hungry I love to play with them and and teach them things so the kids can excel. When I babysit infants I just love to hold them and sing to them. I also worked at Chuck E Cheese so I know how to handle tough kids, screaming and yelling and I definitely know how to make them happy. I love all ages and the more I'm around them it makes me happy. When I work with ages 3-5 I teach them how to write and read. It's a good feeling to know that your teaching kids early so they don't have trouble in school. All ages are such a joy when I walk in to work or just kids in general. They just all run up to me and hug me and say they miss me. It's just a great feeling, even if I was upset that day. I would love to be able to be a nanny or babysit any of the kids. Don't be afraid to call and ask more questions. I have plenty of experience and training. I am also CPR certified.
